Im a relative new comer to the pipe scene. I decided to buy a decent array of aromatics so as to be able to choose a favourite. I bought 2 oz of a dozen different aros from several different blenders. The majority of these have delivered tongue bite due I assume to elevated sugar content. So while they might smell great in the jar and provide a pleasing room note the smoking experience is often poor. Enter Captain Black Royal Great aroma and no tounge bite. Ive read a few reviews that dont speak highly of capt black but I personally cant fault it. It has enough casing to be pleasing but not so much as to be sickly. Two thumbs up. Another great blend.
